Queniborough Dance Company (Q.D.C.) was established over 25 years ago and started with approximately 26 pupils.The classes were run from a number of local rooms/halls in and around the Queniborough area. As time passed the school has progressed, and we now have over 200 pupils taking part in a variety of classes, these include traditional dance such as ballet, tap and modern but also; adult fitness, adult tap, boogie babes, gymnastics and professional training for students who wish to dance to a further level.

All dance classes now operate from one building, 109 Broad Street, Syston, LE7 1GJ. (On the corner of North Street.)

The whole aim of Q.D.C is for the children to have fun as they learn dancing skills, and this is mirrored by the easy going approach of the teachers. Janet Tarry is the Principal, with her main assistants Sarah Beange, Lucy Poole,  Heidi Grudgings and Jessica Coleman. We sell all the uniform, shoes, bags etc, but for leisure uniform go to the website KMN Kraft Kreations, choose all of our goods.

The dance pupils have the opportunity to enter exams and the annual show but this is not compulsory.

Our 25th anniversary show took place in February 2022 at the Mountsorrel Memorial Centre for the first time and we were really pleased with how it went!
